Privacy Policy
Dental Match respects the privacy of people who contact us about failed or unsatisfactory dental work. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how we treat dental-related details and optional photos submitted through this site.
What we collect
Name, email, phone number, general location within the US, a description of the dental work in question, optional photos you choose to upload, and basic marketing attribution. We intentionally do not collect Social Security numbers, insurance ID numbers, or a full medical history.
Why we collect it
We use your information to review your submission, understand what type of correction specialist may be appropriate, contact you about your request, provide a paid Dental Match Assessment if you request one, and, where there appears to be a reasonable fit, introduce you to a vetted correction specialist. We are not a dental practice and do not use this information to diagnose or treat any condition.
Who sees it
Your submission is reviewed by people working with or for Dental Match. If you ask us to seek a match or an assessment, we may share relevant details with the specific specialist(s) or professional reviewer(s) involved in evaluating your request. We do not sell your contact details, dental-related submission, or photos.
Photos
Photo uploads are optional. If provided, photos are used only to help understand your request for matching or assessment purposes. Do not upload anything you do not want reviewed for that purpose. We do not request full medical records, insurance IDs, government ID numbers, or unrelated health history.
Texas privacy position
Dental Match is not a dental practice, health plan, or health care clearinghouse. We do not provide dental diagnosis, treatment, clinical advice, or insurance payment services. However, because Texas law may apply broadly to businesses that knowingly collect, store, use, or transmit protected health information, we treat dental-related descriptions, contact details tied to a dental request, and optional photos as sensitive health-related information.
For that reason, we limit use of this information to the purpose you submitted it for, restrict access to people and service providers who need it to operate the service, use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, and do not disclose it in exchange for payment except as part of providing the matching or assessment service you request. If we believe an unauthorized access or disclosure has occurred, we will evaluate notice obligations under applicable federal and state law.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your submission by contacting us through the form on this site or by replying to any email we send you. We may keep limited records where needed for security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.
Retention
We keep submissions only as long as reasonably needed to review your request, provide the service you asked for, follow up with you, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it where practical.
